Descriptif du poste

We are seeking a highly strategic, structured, and hands-on Director of Operations – France to oversee operations in France and drive the country’s growth agenda. Reporting to the Global VP of Operations, this role is pivotal in shaping how we operate locally, accelerating the development of new services, improving client retention, and contributing to strategic initiatives at the group level. This role is both strategic and operational: the Director of Operations – France will help define the growth playbook for the French market and ensure its execution across teams and functions.

Key Target

Drive Growth & Strategic Initiatives to reach over 2 digits revenue growth in France and contribute to Group-level growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Business Development, Communications, HR and IT teams in France, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.

  • Transform decision-making processes through data-driven insights, performance management and operational excellence.

  • Reduce billing leakage by implementing tracking of billed vs billable hours

  • Reset and structure our pricing strategy through the introduction of volume-linked discounts

  • Support France top management as they transition from a geo-led approach to a sector-led approach

  • Develop and execute strategies to accelerate the growth of new services and increase client lifetime value and revenue

  • Directly contribute to select group-level strategic projects, notably in Business Development and Communications, contributing French insights to international initiatives.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Manage and develop local teams (HR, BD, Com, IT), fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Work closely with the CEO, Global VP of Operations and senior leadership to align French operations with group strategy.

  • Support local leaders in executing ambitious growth plans while embedding structured processes and metrics.

  • Report to the Global VP of Operations and to France ExCom on performance, operational efficiency, and strategic impact.

Profil recherché

The ideal candidate is an ex-consultant from a top-tier strategy firm, analytical and structured, able to navigate complexity and turn insights into actionable growth initiatives. This person will also directly manage France-based teams in Business Development, Communications, HR and IT.

  • Consulting experience from a top-tier strategy firm or equivalent professional services experience.

  • Passion for innovation, digital transformation, and applying data to drive business outcomes.

  • Experience working with multiple functional teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong analytical and structured thinking with the ability to manage complexity and deliver measurable results.

  • Proven track record in leading operations and growth initiatives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable influencing senior leadership and working with experts in their field.

  • Fluent in French and English.
